The Dynamics Research Group (DRG) conducts research into vibrations, dynamics of structures and wave propagation, with a wide range of engineering applications including aerospace, energy generation, automotive and infrastructure.
There are five broad areas of research: structural health and condition monitoring (SHM), system identification; damping and structural control; nonlinear structural dynamics and acoustics.
The DRG is part of the University’s School of Mechanical, Aerospace & Civil Engineering. Please see our website here for more detailed information on our expertise.
